Five Months ] 1/9/06

Has it only been five months? It has only been five months! This weekend marked five months clean and sober. Saturday night my company had a holiday party (we celebrate in January, December is too busy for another party.) There was lots of wine. But the ice water tasted just fine to me! After the party I went dancing at Cobalt with a companion. RedBull on ice was all I needed to get out and shake it. This week Metro Weekly ran a year in review story focusing on the distinct new attitude that has been established in much of DC's gay community toward "Tina" (Crystal Meth). It has been a result of the hard work of many who care too much about our boys to see us get whipped by some snortable, smokable, injectable poison.
