He has been using meth on and off for several years, knowing how disasterous it can be. He battles the mental and physical addiction, like many of us, and has tried various forms of treatment and support. Just for today, however, we decided that the best way to beat meth is to get outside, spend time talking and being creative. So, we did just that, wandering through Arlington Cemetery taking pictures, each with our own new SLR digital cameras. Let this image of a butterfly, doing his thing, spreading seeds of new life, right here in Arlington Cemetery, symbolize our ability to find joy and beauty in life, even amid the sadness and reality of meth addiction. |

If you're going to San Francisco ] August 23, 2005
Wednesday August 24th, through Tuesday August 30th, I am going to be traveling to San Francisco to start my MBA in Sustainable Management at Presidio World College. On Monday the 29th, I get to hang out with Brady Ralston (see the Brady Ralston update from 8/17). I am looking forward to meeting this new brother-in-life. I may or may not have access to e-mail or my website during my trip. I know many of you check back to see how I am doing day by day. Thank You. If you see the day count stop, or no new updates, be assured that I am running around staying out of trouble.
