Clean and Sober at Rehoboth Beach ] 8/15/05 |
Sir, will you take my picture? ] August 13, 2005 My friends Marc and Steven invited me out to their beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for a little rest and relaxation. I spent Saturday afternoon in the sun, strutting my new "Let's Talk" muscle shirts on Poodle Beach (the gay beach). I gave 4 shirts to a group of cute guys, explaining why I had made the shirts, and encouraging them to talk about meth use. They said "Do you have Small?". I said, "Will you settle for Boys Large?" |
Caution Speed Bump ] August 13, 2005 Just in front of the lovely home where I was staying, I found a sign which says "Caution Speed Bump". Grrrr. |
Sunday Morning RnR ] August 14, 2005
Sunday Morning RnR ] August 14, 2005 After an evening of drinking soda and redbull, while dancing and chatting away with new friends at the local bar and dance club, I spent a leisurely Sunday morning resting before a few more hours on the beach. (Sorry for the rediculous poses, but the light was just perfect.) |
My 7-day Chlamydia / Gonorrhea Treament ] August 14, 2005 After a Chlamydia and Gonorrhea tests last week at the Alexandria Department of Health, I have been taking a 7-day run of antibiotics to knock out the goobers. Thank you Alexandria Health Department for your service to the community. |
Let's Talk Tee's ] August 14, 2005 Out of my own pocket, I funded a run of 20 "Let's Talk" shirts of various colors and styles. I have given away half already. I wore three different styles this weekend on the beach and in the gay bars. Apparently my new nickname is "Hey, Let's Talk". Of course I always keep stickers on hand to decorate inquisitive conversationalists. |
| A clean and sober weekend at the beach was just what I needed. I am finding that I can approach anyone and just talk. It's refreshing. |
