Challenge: Create an event theme and visual motif for the 30th anniversary celebration of a landscape architecture and urban planning firm to demonstrate creativity and contribute to a memorable experience for guests.

Solution: Employees contributed slogan ideas for the event. The favorite was β€œdon't trust anyone under 30.” A series of post cards was developed for mailing to invitees in the five weeks preceding the celebration. Photography was selected that makes light of the serious and sophisticated work and major practice areas of the firm. Typography and brand purple contribute to the whimsy of the theme. The final post card portrays employees in an exuberant party portrait, lending a personal touch to the campaign. Copy creates comparisons between the characters in the images and the expertise of the firm.
